Jason Hightower, CFA

Jason Hightower, CFA, is a business economist and corporate finance advisor with more than two decades of experience working at the intersection of finance and entrepreneurship. His background includes owning, operating, investing in, and advising businesses across a diverse range of industries, which has shaped a practical, judgment-driven approach to financial decision-making.

His work focuses on capital allocation, cash flow optimization, and the strategic financial choices that determine long-term firm performance. He helps leaders think more clearly about growth opportunities, risk, and tradeoffs, particularly in situations where the stakes are high and the path forward is uncertain.

In addition to his applied work, Jason serves as an Associate Professor of Finance, where he teaches corporate finance, valuation, and investment decision-making. He is a CFA Charterholder and holds master’s degrees from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
